Harnessing its 8K processing power, Strato K delivers our new 4K Cinematic format, with full chroma (up to 4:4:4) and much higher bitrates. The extra color and image data produces visuals that are engaging, immersive, and breathtaking — pulling you into the story and delivering a dramatic leap beyond today's 4K.

Strato K is also the first movie player certified by the 8K Association to meet the performance and interoperability requirements set by the Association's Technical Working Group.

Like all Kaleidescape players, Strato K features lossless multichannel and spatial object-based audio — including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X — for bit-for-bit reproduction of high-resolution soundtracks with clear dialog and immersive, three-dimensional sound.

Strato K works on its own or as part of a larger Kaleidescape system. Standalone, it stores a handful of 8K, 4K Cinematic, or 4K movies on its internal one-terabyte solid-state drive. It can also be grouped with one or more Kaleidescape Terra movie servers to add storage and whole-home entertainment.

Content downloads via the Kaleidescape movie store — the world's only high-fidelity movie library — delivering lossless audio and full reference video quality across thousands of movies, TV series, and concerts. Titles are available in 8K, 4K Cinematic, 4K, and 2K with lossless multichannel and object-based audio, including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.

Customers can now choose between the 2K, 4K, and 8K movie players to suit their home entertainment needs.
